I created a typeface, which is a reaction to the fact that the design of typefaces is set to a certain amount of rules you have to follow. My typeface is based on a structure in which I take the very corner of a letter and turn these 90 degrees. By doing this simple repetition, I managed to follow but bend some rules in type design. My collection of printed pages shows an abstract story about escaping that system. The typeface is placed on a perfect aligned grid to make a teasing design which is not following the rules and is breaking out of its pattern.
