I was asked to design a poster containing a social problem in the Netherlands. For this typographic poster, I made a typeface which refers back to ‘thinking in frames’. The typeface uses this methodology and is placed in and made out of squares with black on white paper to focus on the contrast. This message is direct and directed to the framed minds who are not ready for a change. The poster was hung from the ceiling, with which the word ‘samen’ (together) was carved out, so you could see through the paper. The work is originally made without the use of a computer and completely made and cut by hand.
